Setting Up Your Harvest Integration

We offer integration with Harvest. Here are a few of the key features of this integration: 

  • You can turn your accepted proposals into invoices with just one click
  • You can import and export client information between Bidsketch and Harvest
  • You can create Harvest projects directly in Bidsketch from your proposals

Here's a rundown of how you can set up and take advantage of the features offered by this integration: 

Setting Up Your Integration

To set up your Harvest integration, go to your account settings, to the “API & Integration" tab. Click on the “New Integration" button. Underneath the Harvest logo click "Start" to get started:

From here you'll be taken to a verification form. Enter your Harvest URL, check the "import contacts" box, and click "save":

Once you've completed this step you'll be directed to your Harvest account, where you can authorize Bidsketch. Click the "approve" button, and you're done.

Converting Your Proposals Into Invoices

You can create an invoice for your proposal with just the click of a button. To do this, go to the details page of the proposal (by clicking on the title). From the proposal details page, click on the “add invoice" button:

If you click this button a modal will pop up, allowing you to create an invoice. You also have the option of creating a Harvest Project (with, or without, project tasks). 

Viewing Your Client Invoices in Bidsketch

You can see all of the Harvest invoices for a client from your Bidsketch dashboard. In the client details page, there is a tab for “Invoices":

Importing Your Clients from Harvest

There are two ways that you can import client information from Harvest into Bidsketch:

1. During the initial integration setup, by selecting the “import contacts" box, or
2. Manually syncing your Harvest integration.
